G.3908 whilst the pilots are Sergeant Motycka - Flight Sergeant Novak - Sergeant Dobrovolny and Sergeant Novotny. The film lasts for approximately 2 minutes and is very grainey. It has been transferred to DVD which is part of the lot and we have been assured this is the only copy

A rare Victorian Army officers presentation sword to the 51st Lanarkshire Rifles. Having a finely etched blade with the inscription Presented to John Crawford Esqr. Lieut. of the 51st Lanarkshire Rifles by a few friends of the Volunteer Movement Feby. 1860. The 51st Lanarkshire Rifles were formed shortly after 15th May 1859 and were consolidated on the 10th December 1861 by joining 14 other Rifle Volunteer Companies to become the 19th Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteer Corps. The sword has an 83cms blade length and comes complete with leather dress knot and brass scabbard with hanging straps
